Tony Hawk's:Proving Grounds Review

During gameplay one takes on the role of an amateur skateboarder who is seeking to become a career skateboarder such as Tony Hawk himself and perform at various events like the X-games, or become a hardcore skater and live for massive gaps and the largest amount of air possible. The plot of this story is slightly similar to many other Tony Hawk games, but in this one you have a path to choose and various missions to accomplish that send you on different paths while. While the older ones only allow you to become a career skater and that is it.The main character is who ever you decide it to be, they give you a large selection of races and facial features to choose from. Your character is customizable from head to toe and even the gamer chooses the name. In this release version of Tony Hawk, the programmer tries to give the game a real urban east coast look. Since the game is set in various East Coast cities, multiple docks and water fronts are visible along with industrial areas and rail systems. This game is truly one of the best skateboarding games of its time. Its really a player driven game, " Will you be the career-driven skater that scores huge demos, or earn the crown as the most hardcore skater the East Coast has ever known."
