1.My initial impression of Into The Wild was not that good, this is my third time reading this book and I never find it anymore intriguing than before. The events and character(s) especially Chris McCandless seem just to be individuals who starve for attention and try too hard to be non-comformist.
2. Absorbed- because in the entire book he makes decisions based on only the repercussions he will reap. Particularly the whole basis of the story is based on that, how he just wants to mature and not worrying about his parents feeling and even his little siblings
3. The writer tries to portray the theme of individuality and the need to break away from the norm and be their own person and show other people around you that you don't need them.
4.Chris and the guy from Rebel Without a Cause, he seems to very influenced by the people around him.
5.I can not seee any particular connections between me or any other characters in the novel Into The Wild
6.This sitauation pertains to the rebelliousness todays teen have against authority and everything that opposes their opinions or thoughts. Kids have many opinions and positions on where they stand on certain issues and argue them to no no end.
